The Objective of these campagins was to create awareness about ill effects of plastic and segregation of domestic wet and dry waste .
ROOTS in collaboration with Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar and Kissan Mandi Maqsudan organized an awareness campign - SAY NO TO PLASTIC. On this occassion DMO Mr Varinder Khera Kissan Mandi Maqsudan addressed the local vendors and dealers and advised them to not to promote plastic bags and to shift towards compostable bags .
