ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਅੱਜ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਿਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਆਦਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਸੁਧਾਰੀਆਂ। ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਵਿਚ ਅਸੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਹ ਕੋਹ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਲਤਾੜ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਛਡਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੀਵਨ ਲਈ ਮੁਢਲੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹਵਾ, ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਉਪਜਾਊ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਨਿੱਤ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਰੋਜ਼ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਜੋਕੀਆਂ ਕਾਢਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਧੁਨਿਕ ਵਸੀਲੇ ਸਭ ਧਰੇ ਧਰਾਏ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ, ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਜਾਤੀਆਂ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੁਪਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਤਹਿਸ ਨਹਿਸ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਓਦੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਦ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਰਤਣਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਲਓ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਹਠ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ, ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦਾ ਹਾਣੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ, ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪੁਰ ਅਮਨ ਸਤਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਜੀਵਨ ਬਿਤਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ ਅਸੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਲਗਭਗ ਆਖਰੀ ਨਸਲ ਵੱਜੋਂ ਦੇਖੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜੌ ਕਿ ਬੇਮਾਇਨੇ ਹੈ। ਸੋ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ, ਆਓ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਦਗੀ ਅਪਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਵੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸੁਰਗਨੁਮਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਣ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਦ ਕਰੀਏ।

The time to come is even more horrible than today, if we do not improve our lifestyle and our habits. In the lure of advancement of technology and comforts, we have trampled on nature in such a way that the basic necessities of life, like clean air, clean water and fertile soil have been destroyed. Every day, we are facing new diseases. Modern inventions and resources have all been exhausted in front of them. Many species of animals are rapidly becoming extinct. The ecosystem is crumbling. All this has happened since we have learned to use nature for the service of human beings, insisting on enslaving it. Whereas, we should live in harmony with nature, respecting its absolute peace. Today we are seen as almost the last race on earth. Other lands are being explored in search of life. Which is meaningless. So before it's too late, let's live life to the fullest using technology, respecting nature and adopting simplicity in life and handing over this heavenly earth to future generations.
